Worst Drought in Kenya.
We are experiencing the worst drought in decades. Most areas in East Africa has been badly hit by drought.
In Pokot,Turkana and Samburu areas has been greatly affected. When you move in these areas, you will meet with carcases of animals.
The government of Kenya has now stepped in to help the poor families by providing Ksh. 2000 to every family per day.The government has also released 500,000 bags of maize to distribute to affected families. On top of that canned meat are also provided to this families.
Our projects have been hit badly as most people here are nomads ans they have moved in search of water and pastures.
We are trying our best to continue delivering our services to them.
